EpiTrain VI – next course in advanced epidemiology of infectious diseases to be held in Tallinn, Estonia

After the successful completion of previous five modules of EpiTrain courses which have been held in Latvia, Estonia, Norway and Lithuania, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health is planning to continue with the next module by the end of 2010. We start the application procedure for the courses.

Vaccination against pneumococcal infection in Iceland from 2011

European Scientific Conference on Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology (ESCAIDE) will bring together specialists in the field of public health from Europe and other parts of the world in order to strengthen and expand the human network, share scientific knowledge and experience, and provide a dedicated platform for EPIET/FETP (field epidemiology training programme) fellows to present their work. Resolution signed on further collaboration within EpiNorth project

At the Annual EpiNorth Meeting held in Kristiansand, Norway, 24-25 June 2010 the participants signed a Resolution on further collaboration within the EpiNorth project. The relevance of this collaboration was substantiated by the recent influenza A(H1N1) pandemic when sharing information and discussing the surveillance, prevention and control measures were of utmost importance.
