Cases of unknown etiology in Nizhyn, Ukraine

[20.08.10]
As of 17 August, a total of 9 children underwent medical treatment at the Municipal Hospital in Nizhyn, according to the administration of Chernigov Oblast in Ukraine. Preliminary diagnosis was acute respiratory infection with underlying severe chronic nervous system impairment. All patients were in stable condition.

Increased number of hepatitis A cases in Lviv Oblast, Ukraine

In the period of 6-31 July 2010, a total of 10 people were hospitalized with suspected hepatitis A in a village in Lviv oblast, according to the Sanitary-Epidemiological Station in Lviv oblast.

World Health Organization declared pandemic flu A(H1N1) over
